East Lake Mary Boulevard Small Area Study

Banka Doiton 2019Seminole County, working with Renaissance Planning, is currently conducting a small area land use study around a five-mile section of E. Lake Mary Boulevard from Mellonville Avenue to just north of State Road 46, Orlando Sanford International Airport, and environmental areas bordering Lake Jesup from boundaries to the west and east.  The study will examine a broad range of development and planning-related issues to help create a program of strategies and policies that will guide growth as this area develops and evolves over time.

An important part of the study involves engaging the community, both businesses and residents, to understand their perceptions of the E. Lake Mary Boulevard corridor and study area, their concerns and issues with existing development and transportation conditions, and their ideas for the future of the study area.

On October 29, 2020 Seminole County in collaboration with Renaissance Planning and the City of Sanford held a community workshop. The brief presentation "Community Workshop" as prepared by Renaissance Planning, outlines the objectives and process for the study and the community input process.

If you did not have the chance to attend the community workshop, you can still participate by visiting the following link , where you can still contribute in all three of the workshop exercises through an expanded survey.  Please tell us anything that’s important to you as a stakeholder.

If you wish to watch the recorded meeting it can be found Banka Doiton 2019 using the Access Passcode: T&wT7x3s
